Blanks to Boxes

After the white sample, the factory sent us the sized die cut PDF files for the top and bottom boxes, into which we would add the design.  Of course they arrived blank.  The next few entries are about how we moved from those blanks to our ultimate boxes.

Again, as I will post about later in more detail, the colors of the various PDFs are not exactly accurate and can change depending on what type of screen or program you are using to view them. This was one of the challenges we faced when designing long-distance.  It was hard to know what colors were “true”.  The actual printed colors are a lot brighter than these images.
