Smooth As Silk

That afternoon, Dan led an expedition of shoppers to the Silk Market, which is a famous tourist market known best for its souvenirs and price haggling experience.

Over the course of his summer here, Dan had gotten pretty good at bargaining in Chinese.  Also, he had made several trips to the silk market with us before the wedding, so he knew the price ranges of items fairly well.  It ended up being a successful trip for all, and everyone (including the vendors, I’m sure) left happy.

Bargaining often happens by calculator.

Sue Boss gets the job done.
