For most of my older cousin’s weddings, Mike has been asked to be the ring bearer. And he’s done a darn good job at it. Because of this experience, the joke is that he will forever be the family ring bearer no matter how old he gets. Generously he agreed to keep the tradition going for Tian and me.
After a short reflection on the symbolism of the rings by Chris, Tian and I exchanged our rings saying, “I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and commitment to you” and “我给你戴上这枚戒指，让它作为我们爱和承诺的象征.”
