Jing Jing Clink Clink

As dinner progressed, traditions from both sides presented themselves.  In China, it’s customary for the bride and groom to make the rounds to all of the tables to make a toast (“Jing”) to each group of guests.  In America, it’s common for all the guests to clink their glasses and make the couple kiss in front of everyone.  Let’s just say we made both cultures happy!

Toasting each table separately during dinner is an important Chinese wedding tradition.

Eat well. Drink well.

Tian and I occasionally got to sit and eat at our table...

Then the glass clinking began.

One more time!
